A beautiful pair of armchairs, designed by George van Rijck and manufactured by Beaufort in Belgium circa 1960.The chairs have a square design, with a warm brown wood base that adds nicely to their mid-century modern style. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a beautiful black leather. The same goes for the seat and back cushions. All together it makes a really nice and luxurious set that will be a wonderful addition to your home.Sold as a set.The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina.

George van Rijck is a Dutch industrial designer born in Rotterdam in 1961. He studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, where he graduated in industrial design in 1986.
