About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful 50s armchair with tubular frame, designed by Toon de Wit for Gebr. De Wit, the factory of Toon and his brother Martien. This tubular frame chair has no back legs and therefore has a wonderful, slightly springy sit. The upholstery is original black leatherette. The armrests are made of bakelite. This chair – model 3014 – is a fine example of Dutch modern design from the 50s. A combination of transparent design and comfort.
