Bronze sculpture "The Guide" by Danish artist Peter Stuhr, 2005 H 21 cm x W 8.3 cm x D 12.5 cm" The Guide" sculptures are a number of unique handmade bronze pieces cast from communist sculptures of the former USSR "Heroes" like Stalin, Marx etc. Peter Stuhr's paintings consist of an expressive pictorial world of subdued color streams and transparent layers, which means that many of his works take on the nature of deep, romantic dreamscapes. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1974 to 1981 with prof. Richard Mortensen and prof. Albert Mertz worked in the 80s with painting as his main expression, but in recent years he has also worked on: sculpture, video, photography, drawing, installation as an artistic expression, and has also made a number of striking glass decorations and interior designs. In addition to numerous exhibitions in Denmark, he has exhibited in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Russia, Poland, England and the Baltic countries.
