About this vintage design furniture
A rare and beautiful mid-century mushroom floor lamp, designed by Franco Bresciani. Manufactured by iGuzzini, Italy 1976. Fantastic looking and striking standard lamp which lets off a beautiful, warm glow. Some very small scuffs on the base (see photos). Otherwise the rest of the lamp is in excellent, working vintage condition. This lamp is wired with its original European plug. About the designer
Franco BRESCIANI
Franco Bresciani is an Italian industrial designer born in Milan in 1948. He studied at Milan Polytechnic, graduating in architecture in 1973. After working for Italian design companies such as Brionvega and Zanotta, he founded his own design studio in 1981. Since then, he has worked with many international brands, including Artemide, Flos, Yamaha, Sharp, Sanyo and Hitachi.
