About this vintage design furniture
Scandinavian Modern period set of 4 armchairs or dinning room chairs designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen and manufactured for Søborg Møbelfabrik in 1950’s Denmark. Chairs are made of solid teak beautifully curved frame, back rest and armrests & original cane seatings. One seating has slight cane damage please see the pictures. On your request we can restore the cane damage. Overall chairs are in a great condition. High quality Danish design.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
