An exceptional 10-seat custom dining set featuring an angled Macassar table with framed leg inserts, matched with 10 custom champagne leather dining chairs.Handcrafted for an exclusive London residence, this set exudes class, quality and sophistication. The original price of the set was over £30,000. The large table features an X-shaped base that connects two highly carved macassar support frames that have been expertly inserted into the ebonized black ash top. Everything about this table is impressive, from the chrome center inserts in the leg supports to the hidden construction elements that can be seen from underneath and demonstrate the finesse of the assembly and attachment. This is a solid, heavy table that is presented in very good used condition, with just a few minor marks on the top and frame, as expected. It is matched with a set of 10 champagne leather chairs with gold, cream and silver thread woven into the back. The handcrafted chairs feature exceptional craftsmanship that combines comfort with soft, high-quality leather. You can't really see it in the photos, but the leather has a golden sheen to it that matches the golden threads of the backrest fabric. This is a beautifully constructed set of chairs that remain in very good used condition - one has a small mark on the seat (this is a mark, not a crack or tear) and two of the chairs have very small nicks in the leather on the side; all of which are shown in the accompanying photos.
