About this vintage design furniture
Set of two chairs designed by Gio Ponti in 1951 exclusively for the San Remo Casino.Made of natural ash wood, woven rattan seat and back, legs with brass tips.These rare chairs are made to sit on the roulette table. The seat height is slightly higher but the chairs can also be used on a normal table or as a side chair.These items were designed for the casino and are quite exceptional.Seat height: 55 cm

Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
