Vintage smoked glass side table by Osvaldo Borsani and Eugenio Gerli for Tecno, 1960s
About this vintage design furniture
This T69 side table, despite its massive T-shaped metal frame and the 1.5 cm thick gray-black smoked glass plate gives an airy impression. The 130 cm Large, original, glass table top shows minimal signs of wear and has only one chip, approx. 3-4 mm in size, on the edge. The aluminum frame, with stainless steel surfaces on the outside and black paint on the inside, is in good condition. The side table was designed in the 1960s by the Italian designers Osvaldo Borsani and Eugenio Gerli for Tecno. It is believed that the two designers were inspired by the shape of the Tecno logo.
