About this vintage design furniture

Description: This superb extremely rare extending dining table and eight chairs was designed by W H Russell for Gordon Russell of Broadway and retailed by Heals a high-end well-respected London retailer. The suite had one previous owner and was purchased from new in 1965. Constructed from some of the finest materials available mahogany and Rio rosewood the suite is a true statement piece. We have professionally and meticulously stripped, cleaned and french polished the entire suite, ensuring the colour is perfectly matched across the table and extending leaf. The dining table extends with an additional leaf to comfortably accommodate the six stunning rosewood dining chairs. The extending leaf is complete with the original paper & wet ink certificate of authenticity. This truly is a superb set - some of the finest British midcentury furniture made. Item SKU: Condition: We have carefully stripped this suite and refinished it with a french polish. We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible.
