Murano glass vintage table lamp, Italy 1960s

A large fine Italian Mushroom table lamp from the 1960s. The lamp consists of a gilded metal base and an elegant and rare glass lampshade made of Murano "Balloton" cased art glass, in a delicate peach colour. The so-called Balloton is the term traditionally used in Murano glassworks to define a special process that gives the glass a special faceted texture, resulting in a three-dimensional final effect. Good vintage condition, all parts are original and undamaged, may show slight traces of use compatible with age. Please see photos.
