About this vintage design furniture
A nice coffee table designed by Gebroeders van der Stroom, manufactured by Gispen in the Netherlands around 1980. The model is "GT 417". It has a chrome plated tubular metal cross base that supports a round clear glass top. A minimalist but elegant design that is a very recognizable piece of mid-century Dutch design. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
