About this vintage design furniture
Truly Scandinavian mid century modern wall unit in teak, 2-bay modular shelving with a secretaire and a chest of drawers, system “Ergo” was designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk made in Norway in 1960s. Slightly curved cabinets make a warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand looking statement. This shelving system includes: 1 secretarie desk cabinet with a locking key (H: 40 cm x W: 78 cm x D: 35 cm) 1 hanging chest of 8 drawers (H: 40 cm x W: 78 cm x D: 35 cm) 5 shelves 21 cm deep 1 shelf 21 cm deep and 14 cm high 3 teak rails-tracks 189 cm long There is small age typical wear such as shallow scratches, small imperfections on drawers lining or light patina. Overall, it is in very good vintage condition especially after cleaning it and coating with additional layer of Danish Oil. Dimensions of the layout shown on photos: H: 189cm x W: 168cm x D: 40 cm
