About this vintage design furniture
Large headboard by Italian artist and designer Luciano Frigerio. The brass frame is solid and elegant, providing a perfect setting for the nine brutalist sculptures in bronze. This is the "Baghdad" model, part of the "Letti Scultura" series designed by Luciano Frigerio for Frigerio Di Desio in Italy in the early 1970s. This piece has been fully restored and repolished, and is in very good vintage condition. Intended for a king size bed, attaching the headboard to the box spring requires only four large screws. A similar headboard by Lucio Frigerio is featured in the January-February 2021 issue of AD magazine.
