About this vintage design furniture
Cloverleaf by Verner Panton for Verpan. In a brand new coat in Purple Velvet Fabric. Created by Verner Panton in 1969, Cloverleaf sofa is a striking work. It was presented in 1970 for the legendary Visiona 2 exhibition in Cologne, but never put on sale before. The concept of modular sofa highlights the genius of Verner Panton. Cloverleaf suggests a new way of living space. Playfully walking the line between sensuous seating sculpture and modular pragmatism, the full design master piece is composed by different elements. The idea behind was (and obviously is) to assemble forms to get different shapes. The sofa consists of a build-up system: there is a right, left (L 114,5 cm) and middle (L 141 cm) unit , which can be connected to adapt and transform for your space to create unique interiors. The three pieces are designed to fit with each other, building up from two to six pieces, forming a fluid hexagonal shape that encourages multiple ways of being seated. The internal structure is coated with CMHR high resilience foam (35kgm3) to preserve its shape over time. Module dimensions are : W 114.5 cm x D 115 cm x H 80 cm; sitting: H40 cm x D 50 cm.
