About this vintage design furniture
Pair of chairs by designer Adam Stegner for Pagholz. Made in Germany by Elmar Flötotto, these chairs in pagwood (postformed plywood) and resin are robust and comfortable. The dark brown colour shows the wood grain, the legs are made of chromed steel tube. Note traces of wear on the seats and legs. The glides have been replaced. About the designer
Adam STEGNER
Adam Stegner was an Austrian industrial designer who was born in 1921 and died in 2009. He is best known for designing the Pagholz chair in the 1950s.
