About this vintage design furniture
bureau from the 1960s by Nils Jonsson for HJN Møbelfabrik. Corpus in teak veneer with a hinged work surface, three large and three small drawers, one of which has a mirror, two storage compartments and straight feet. Quality features: – accomplished design: perfect proportions and visible attention to detail – high-quality workmanship using first-class materials – solid wood front edges – mortis & tenon solid wood drawers – Made in Denmark. Design: Nils Jonsson, manufacturer: HJN Møbelfabrik Knee height 66 cm Good restored condition with slight signs of usage.

About the designer
Nils JONSSON
Nils Jonsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1927 and died in 2017. He began his career working for a Swedish furniture manufacturer in the 1950s, where he designed solid wood furniture with clean, modern lines. He then founded his own company, Nils Jonsson Möbelfabrik, in 1958, which became famous for its high-end teak furniture.
