About this vintage design furniture
For sale is an iconic, original Pop Art porcelain "Paper Bag" vase designed by Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala, circa 1977, for Rosenthal's "DO NOT LITTER" range. This example is in superb vintage condition with no damage and very minor wear consistent with over 40 years of careful use. These vases were available in various sizes and shapes, in white or unglazed brown on the outside and pea green on the inside.

1915 - 1985Tapio Wirkkala was a Finnish designer and artist born on June 2, 1915 in Hanko, Finland, and died on May 19, 1985 in Helsinki. He is considered one of Finland's most important designers and left his mark on the history of 20th-century Scandinavian design.
