About this vintage design furniture
Wonderful 1950's Omnia modular shelving system in teak veneer. The system consists of four black metal ladders, four shelves, a magazine rack, three containers with doors, a container with sliding glass doors and a container with four drawers and a door. The shelving system can be combined and extended flexibly. Two doors are lined with black Formica. Quality features: - good workmanship - high quality materials - solid wood drawers with mortise and tenon joints - Made in Germany, manufacturer : Hilker (marking on the inside) Good restored condition with slight signs of use. About the designer
Ernst Dieter HILKER
Ernst Dieter Hilker is a German designer born in 1942 in Magdeburg, East Germany. He studied at the Halle College of Art and Design, where he trained as an industrial designer. In 1969, he moved to Stuttgart, West Germany, where he worked for several renowned design agencies.
