About this vintage design furniture
This cocktail bar is designed by Torbjørn Afdal and manufactured by Mellemstrands Møbelfabrik in Norway in the 1960s. It is a rare find It shows good quality manufacturing and materials and is refined in every detail - also inside. The small piece of furniture can be turned into a true cocktail bar by opening both doors and extending the top. The doors are fixed in the top so they remain open when functioning as a bar. The cabinet has wheels. Details are in brass. This bar cabinet is in rosewood and in very good condition due to our own workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments. This cocktail bar was seen in the Netflix series ‘State of Happiness’ (‘Lykkeland’) about Stavanger - Norway in the 1960s. dimensions: height: 80-82 cm width: 76-152 cm depth: 42 cm
