About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful ceiling light with simple, yet elegant finish. Produced in Czechoslovakia in 1950s when the use of bakelite was still very profound in Czechoslovakia. The light is hanging on a simgle steel rod with bakelite base which holds a white opaline glass ball. The light was rewired by a professional electrician and is restored to work safely. It works on one bulb. The glass is in an excellent condition. The bakelite is brown in color (looks more like black in pictures, but it is brown). The bakelite shows some minor aging, as well as the steel rod. Beautiful and elegant light.
