About this vintage design furniture
The Inna armchair designed in 1982 by student designer Pentti Hakala. Produced by Inno-tuote Oy, Finland. This Minimalist chair was designed to be assembled by the first buyer. The materials are steel and plywood. Sprung casters on the rear of bottom board allows for natural flexibility and keeps the movement of the chair from scratching the floor. The head rest is adjustable. The upholstery cloth was designed by textile artist Irma Kukkasjarvi. The Inna chair received honorable mention in the Finland Designer exhibition 1982-1983. Sculptural and architectural design. The chair is in excellent vintage condition with minor wear to black painted plywood, enameled steel and cloth upholstery. This specific piece has upholstery ‘to change’. Both original, so you can change the looks from beigeblack to blueblack. The cushion filling in the neck rest needs attention.
