About this vintage design furniture
A set of four chairs manufactured by Vertex in the 1960s in Czechoslovakia. These chairs were designed by Miroslav Navratil in 1964, initially used in Tatra T3 trams - the most numerous tram in the world, popular mainly in the countries of the Eastern Bloc. After making its debut as a tram chair, it also began to be produced in a home version with a seat supported by metal legs. The chairs are in good condition, signed with the manufacturer’s label.

Miroslav Navratil is a Czech industrial designer born in 1952 in Prague. He graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in 1978, where he studied product design.
