About this vintage design furniture
This pair of chairs was made in France. The structure is in metal with a faux wood paint, the backrest and the seat are in solid oak wood. They were part of the decoration of the Sick Children's Hospital in Paris (Hopital des enfants malades de Paris) furnished and decorated by Albert Armand Rateau, famous French designer. They are documented in his monograph pages 179 and 180.
