About this vintage design furniture
Pair of folding chairs, mod. “Clack”, designed by R. Lucci and P. Orlandini. Reported Compasso d’Oro 1987. Repertory of Italian Design, G. Gramigna, and Allemandi. In good condition consistent with age and use. The “clak” closing system, from which the name derives, is very unique, designed for minimum space while maintaining exceptional solidity and comfort. For larger numbers Lamm also build a kind of storage platform in what the foot of a folded chair was to be positioned so a number of chairs could be folded and stored easily. Therefore the feet covers of all Clark chairs have a simular design. This set of two does not need a storage pallet and is in very good condition consistent with age and use. Very rare folding design chair.
