About this vintage design furniture
A pair of classic leather armchairs designed by Jaques Toussaint and Patrizia Angeloni for Matteo Grassi in the late 1970s. Both chairs are upholstered in gray leather and show some age patina, as well as more obvious signs of wear. What makes these chairs special is their metal construction fully covered in thick leather, combined with an airy design. MatteoGrassi was founded in 1880 as a manufacturer of saddles and riding gear and over time has become a manufacturer of high quality designer furniture. The creations of designer Tito Agnoli in the 1970s marked a turning point in history.
