About this vintage design furniture
An original little dressing table from the 1960s, which can be attributed, by the shape of the mirror support, to the Danish label Aksel Kjersgaard. Made of natural teak wood, it consists of a rectangular plank, finished with a stylised moulding carved on its short sides, under which there is a pair of drawers (both 17 cm wide, the upper one having a useful height of about 13 cm and the lower one 5 cm) all with turned handles typical of Scandinavian design of the time. A square folding mirror crowns the structure, which rests on four stylised bambi feet (circular section tapering towards the base). Entirely restored to its original splendour (to mention only a scar on the lower top of the chest of drawers), its lightness makes it less stable. And don't forget: the mirror is removable, if you want to use it separately, its dimensions are 47.5 x 47.5 cm; when you remove it, the height of the table is 65 cm.
