About this vintage design furniture
Shapely 2 person sofa, love seat from Finland. The design sofa comes in the version oak, natural. The upholstery has been renewed a few years ago in a grey melted fabric. They offer high seating comfort and are tightnot soft. All cushions have zippers. The sofa offers very comfortable sitting. (the armchair and the three-seater sofa are also for sale). The sofa was bought on 04.10.1975 and has been in first ownership since then. Design: Esko Pajamies, 1965 - 1969 Manufacturer Origin: Manufacture ASKO, Finland Age: 1969 - 1979 Condition: Good used condition, age appropriate. The sofa has slight stains on the wood. It has traces of light, because it was at the window. The wood is lightened. There are scratches and traces of shoes on the legs of the sofa. The fabric has slight, almost invisible abrasions. Dimensions: height: 80 cm, width: 131 cm, depth: 80 cm, seat depth: 51.5 cm, seat height: 41 cm Marking signature: no longer available, proof by original invoice from 1975 Material: wood, fabric Note: The pictures are part of the item description. Esko PAJAMIES
1931 - 1990Esko Pajamies was a renowned Finnish designer, born in 1936 in Lahti, Finland, and died in 2014. He studied at Helsinki University of Art and Design (Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture), graduating in 1962.
