Mid century armchair model "Heron" ("Airone") designed by Gio Ponti for the Pirelli tower and produced by Arflex in Italy in 1955. Seat in brown leatherette and base in black metal. Several chairs available, price reported by piece.

Gio PONTI

1891 - 1979

Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
