About this vintage design furniture
Wassily armchair in black leather, designed by Marcel Breuer and manufactured by Gavina, Italy in the 1960s, original year of design 1925. Gavina produced the Wassily chair under license between 1962 and 1968, then Knoll purchased the Gavina company and took over production. Polished chrome metal tube frame and original arms, backrest and seat. In good vintage condition. The leather is in good condition, there is some loss to the stitching of the arms, this is purely decorative and does not affect the chair and there are minimal marks and patination to the leather. The chrome is in good vintage condition, some general marks over all.
