About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful JUMO Model 600 chrome-plated lamp from the 1940s. It was at Bagnolet in the 1940s that Yves Jujeau, a partner of Pierre and André Mounique, created the "Société Nouvelle des Etablissements JUMO", which takes its name from the combination of the first two letters of the two surnames Ju and Mo. Initially relocated, the company died out in the 1980s. JUMO lamps are of excellent quality. This model was chosen by Charlotte Perriand for the exhibition "le bazar" in 1947, and is often wrongly attributed to her. The design of this lamp is truly remarkable. Its chrome-plated appearance, its curves and this particular articulation give it a perfect aestheticism. It is in excellent condition, the power cable has been replaced. It has slight pitting on the base, very discreet. It measures 46cm high at most. It can be picked up in Bordeaux or shipped.
