About this vintage design furniture
Black fiberglas DAX armchair with H-base base designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950s and made at Herman Miller, Fehlbaum (Vitra) in the 1970s. Vitra received a license agreement with Herman Miller in 1957 then started producing the designs of Charles & Ray Eames. First under the name Herman Miller Fehlbaum. (Fehlbaum is the Family name of the family company Vitra) and later under the name Vitra. The condition of this Eames armchair is still very good condition with normal signs of use and wear. The seat has been reupholstered with new blue fabric. Dimensions: h x w x d 81 x 65 x 60 cm, seat height 48 cm. Marked: Herman Miller, Fehlbaum (see photos).
