About this vintage design furniture
Malcolm Morley prints "Leopards", an original unframed and limited edition of the "Odysseys of Enoch Suite", 1986, USA. It would seem that this large format vintage print is that of French foreign legionnaires eaten by a lion in the Sahara desert. Engraving of the aquatint in 4 to 9 colours and hand printing on 4 or 5 engraving plates. Signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right corner and numbered 969 in the lower left corner. Published by Novak Graphics Toronto Canada, with an ink stamp on the back and a blind stamp on the bottom right. The "Suite des Odyssées d'Hénoch" is a limited edition series of 6 vintage sprints. On sale individually or as a complete series of 6 prints that we have in stock. The price is for that one impression alone. This print is unframed, the context photo is a suggestion on how the print might look framed on the wall. This period print is in very good condition. Additional dimensions : The size of the image is: Height: 26.5 cm, width 90 cm BIOGRAPHY OF ARTIST MALCOM MORLEY - Although an American citizen, Malcolm Morley was born in London in 1931 and is therefore British enough to win the first UK Turner Prize in 1984.
