About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful sewing table, designed by Severin Hansen and manufactured by Haslev Møbelsnedkeri in Denmark, for Bovenkamp in the Netherlands, circa 1960. The piece is made of high quality rosewood, crafted with an impressive eye for detail and elegant shapes and finish. It has a warm brown color. Underneath the top is a wicker basket for wool and fabrics that smoothly slides out. It also has a drawer unit with several spaces for smaller materials, a needle pillow etc. This piece is not only a luxurious touch to the decor, but also a very functional storage unit This eye-catching piece remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
