About this vintage design furniture

Designed by Gae Aulenti for FontanaArte in 1980, Tavolo Con Ruote is a coffee table that plays with industrial aesthetics and modern minimalism. Aulenti got the idea for the table from industrial trolleys used at FontanaArte’s factory to transport glass – she replaced the trolley’s wooden shelf with a thick sheet of glass and combined it with large, free-rolling industrial wheels. Tavolo Con Ruote is perfect for spaces where you need to move the coffee table every now and then, and its simple, straightforward design makes a charming addition to all types of interiors.
