About this vintage design furniture
An orange suspension lamp made of "incamiciato" Murano glass, made in Venice circa 1960. "Incamiciato" glass is a technique in which two or more layers of glass of different colours are blown together. In the case of lighting, usually the inner layer is white to favor the diffusion of light. In good condition, with some patina on the ceiling cup. International shipping available.

About the designer
Gino VISTOSI
Gino Vistosi was an Italian designer who was born in 1931 and died in 2016. He was best known for his work in glassmaking and glassblowing, an artisan skill typical of Italy's Venice region. He began his career in the 1950s, working in the family glassmaking business, Vistosi, founded by his grandfather in 1921.
