About this vintage design furniture
A rare chandelier by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors Sweden. The chandelier has a very unusual design consisting of vertically and horizontally striped glass triangles sitting a brass frame. These triangles are possible to twist allowing how much light will be emitted in the room. In the centre of the lamp there is a glass cylinder which surrounding the lightbulb.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
