This is an iconic design by the Danish designer Poul Jensen for the manufactory Selig, produced in the 1950s. This is a rare version with yellow-brown rungs in the backrest of the teakwood frame and buttoned leather cover.

About the designer
Poul JENSEN
Poul Jensen was a Danish designer who was born in 1920 and died in 1982. He is best known for his modernist furniture designs, in particular his iconic Model 63 chair, manufactured by the Selig company from the 1960s onwards.
