About this vintage design furniture
this fantastic piece was designed by Carl Auböck in 1951, and handcrafted in his Workshop in Vienna, Autria in the 1950s. the model has the production model no. 4019. the item still remains in a very good vintage condition, the leather is soft, due to using some stains inside and some scratches outside. the the solid brass frame is in its original condition, with patination, of the last decades.

Karl Auböck was an Austrian designer who was born in Vienna in 1924 and died there in 1985. He was the son of Karl Auböck Senior, a famous woodcarver.
