Vintage ceiling lamp "Bolide" by Hermian Sneyders de Vogel for RAAK. From the 1960s, The Netherlands. A ‘bolide’ is a fireball or a bright meteor, which appears in the evening sky. Considering its age in good and original condition. Marked: at the fitting with Raak sticker (see picture). Source Raak catalog 8, page 39.

Herman SNEYDERS DE VOGEL
Herman Sneyders de Vogel (1899-1976) was a Belgian artist born in Antwerp. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and began his artistic career in the 1920s as an avant-garde painter.
