About this vintage design furniture
Design Svend Aage Holm Sørensen, Denmark. Manufactured by ASEA- Sweden, during the 1950s. Imprinted on bottom. Teak base, metal reflector (black lacquered outside white inside), brass fitting and opaline glass diffuser. Very good condition with minor wear.

About the designer
Svend Aage HOLM SORENSEN
Holm Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his minimalist, functional creations. Born in 1938 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, he studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before turning to industrial design.
