About this vintage design furniture

Rare Danish Palshus table lamp by Per Linnemann Schmidt - Denmark 1960s Palshus produced work using chamotte techniques. Palshus Pottery was founded by Per Linnemann-Schmidt and Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt in 1947 in the town of Sengløse just west of Copenhagen, Denmark. The studio's name is an acronym of P(er),(A)nnelise (L)innemann, (S)chmidt and HUS (house).early studio pieces were precise and minimalist in nature, with beautifully silky, matte glazes - mainly in subtle shades of brown, blue, green or cream. At Palshus, the 1960's saw a change in style with the use of chamotte (textured clay) as well as printed patterns / sgrafitto, used in conjunction with more coarsely textured gloss enamels. The pottery closed in 1972.Dimensions: stand alone H20 x D9 cm with shade: H35 x D20 cm Reference : 283140
