About this vintage design furniture

Splendid armchair designed by Gio Ponti and produced by the Italian manufacture ISA Bergamo around the 1950s, model with a regular backrest. The armchair has a wooden structure with 4 painted aluminum feet. It has been completely reupholstered and upholstered in green Bouclè. We have attached photos of how it was originally. Gio PONTI

1891 - 1979

Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
