About this vintage design furniture
4 armchairs in curved wood called "le corbusier" in reference to the famous french architect and designer. Iconic and avant-garde model as much by its design as its manufacture, this armchair is part of the quest for minimalism dear to michael thonet, its creator. Its lines, both elegant and pure, make it a classic in the history of French design. The prominent back and armrests are formed from a single curved cantilever frame made from a single piece of wood. With a newly refinished upholstery seat, thonet's n 209 is a high quality piece of workmanship. Authentic and timeless, these four armchairs will undeniably add a sculptural touch to your interior. Period: 1920 white paint maybe to be revised.
