About this vintage design furniture
Minimalistic midcentury design sleeper sofa-daybed designed by Gijs Van Der Sluis, 1961s, Netherlands.
Model- 540.
Metal black frame and red fabric seatings.
The bottom pulls away from seat back to level out and it becomes a sleeping sleeping/daybed sofa: W 190cm x L 72cm.

About the designer
Gijs VAN DER SLUIS
Geert Van Der Sluis (1941-2008) was a Dutch designer specializing in office furniture. He studied furniture design at the Groningen School of Art in the Netherlands, where he later taught for several years.
