About this vintage design furniture

This stunning desk by Kai Kristiansen was manufactured by Feldballes Møbelfabrik in Denmark in the 50s. It is made of rosewood veneer and features a remarkably shaped top with beautiful wood grain. A bar cabinet is hidden behind the tambour doors with pivoting shelves and etched mirrors, and a circular storage section for trinkets - pull-out from under the desktop. This vintage desk also features four drawers in front, the top one lockable (key included ), and open storage space at the back as two adjustable shelves useful for books and magazines. This absolutely magnificent piece represents mastery of danish mid-century carpentry, evident in the beautifully grained wood and the precision of details. Legs are detachable for more convenient transport. Excellent vintage condition with very minor traces of use. Wood has been cleaned with professional compounds. Interiors are clean and all mechanisms work smoothly. Additional dimensions: Drawers height: 7 cm Ground clearance: 28 cm Reference : 266155
