About this vintage design furniture
Diabolo floor lamp by René Mathieu for R. Lunel, 50's. Lunel, 50's.Black metal and brass lamp, the head is adjustable thanks to its ball joint located at the level of the lampshade. In very good general condition, the shades have been redone and the original electricity has been revised. Dimensions : H. 160 - shade ø 40

About the designer
René MATHIEU
René Mathieu was a French designer born in Nancy in 1905 and died in 1969. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nancy before moving to Paris to work as a theater decorator. He also worked for Galeries Lafayette, where he was responsible for creating window displays and exhibition stands.
