Danish vintage wall unit in oakwood

Vintage oak bookshelves hanging on solid wood rails are a pretty composition to expose books and decorations. Designed in the style of Poul Cadovius or Preben Sorensen, most likely in the 60s. The set consists of – 3 shelves 20 cm deep – two solid wood rails 97 cm long – brass hangers All shelves have been sanded down to the bare wood, stained and are finished in thin mat lacquer for easier, more carefree maintenance. Even though they come from differnt sources, we uniform their look. This set looks like new and has the quality and esthetics of the new furniture. All the parts that have not been usable, like the old brass screws or sometimes the brass pins, we exchange for new ones. We hang each set on the wall to check if it works properly, fits well etc. We have already worked on over 1000 Scandinavian wall units and they found new homes all over the world. We have way more shelves and rails available and may customise the set to your needs by adding additional rails and changing the number of shelves. When we prepare another set for you the wood grain on the pieces you will receive may slightly differ from the one on photos, but the dimensions, quality, colour and finish will be the same, top notch Futureantiques standard.
