Vintage silver plated bowl, France 1970

Exquisite punch bowl made of silver plated metal circa 1970's in France. This set includes a punch bowl, a display stand, a spoon and a champagne cooler. A punch bowl is a large container where punch is prepared and served with the deep spoon. However, it also includes another element, the champagne cooler, a piece whose circumferences are linked together to hold the different bottles. Doubly functional, it can therefore be filled with ice to cool the bottles. It features a contrasting silver finish, as shown in the images. Wonderfully reflective and charming in appearance, the polished silver plate radiates bright, shiny tones, which are accented by the small beads and ridged embellishments that appear on the more special parts.This is a lovely vintage punch bowl...a delightful serving dish for boozy parties.
