About this vintage design furniture
A modular wall unit/storage system designed by Nisse Strinning in 1949 for String Design AB Sweden.
In 1954 the design won a gold medal on the Triennale in Milano.
This is a rare version with perspex supports manufactured in the 1960s. The cabinets and shelves are made of oak wood (veneer) with formica interiors. There are two cabinets with sliding doors and two shelves.
The cabinets and shelves can be adjusted to different heights. The set is very good condition, only light traces of wear.
