About this vintage design furniture
Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman Rosewood by ICF for Herman Miller International with leather in rosé. Early 1960's production with beautiful Rosewood grain and the typical ICF signatures and labels. The set was bought in Bari. The ICF Office Company was founded by Maddalena De Padova in den 1960's. The Grande Dame of Italian Furniture Making discovered the Eames Wire Chairs on a journey to Basel in the 1960's. Only months later she acquires the licence to built and sell Eames design alongside Willi Fehlbaum/Vitra for the Italian market. The cooperation between ICF and Herman Miller was terminated in 1979. There are only a few ICF Lounge Chairs on the market left.
